I am proud to serve as president of Christmas in the Park in Clay County.  Every year we put on a big Christmas parade the night after Thanksgiving in downtown Brazil.  Then after a Fireworks Show set to music in Forest Park, all the shelters in Forest Park are lit up, having been decorated by community organizations, families, and businesses.  We also have Santa in the park during December so children can visit.  We are always looking for more volunteers on our committee, which meets the second Wednesday of each month at 7pm in the garage behind my office.  For more information, and the history of Christmas in the Park in Clay County, visit our web site, Christmasinthepark.org.
